Orlando's Best Disney Keynote Speakers

The boss said these four things about her:

In a world full of cookie cutters, she is a craftswoman. No one:

  • Works harder
  • Thinks deeper
  • Cares more
  • Reaches higher

Art is that.

Caring more than the others.

The retirement party was originally booked for Disney’s ESPN Wide World of Sports complex. His team welcomed and supported the change to the Napa Room.

On so many levels, it made perfect sense.

We survive or we thrive.

Being intentional is the key to thriving.

He designs websites to do only three things

canvs office space in downtown Orlando

(photo: Two days ago at the Orlando WordPress mentoring meeting at canvs, Orlando’s newest office sharing community.)

We met two days ago. He is the IT director for a regional self-storage company. And he designs his websites to let his customers :

  1. buy
  2. pay
  3. contact

Self -storage. Who knew?

Everything his website does is designed to drive his customers to one of those three actions. Period.

He claims to have made $100,000 as a high school senior. He got into designing websites as a competition with his friends to see could be the best.

Asked him if what he had just shared was anywhere on his website. Why? Because it tells a potentially compelling story that may engage his audience to do what he hopes more often.

He also has an eight-year old son and he is not exactly at a healthy BMI for men his age (30’s). His path is probably not going to change unless he has a wakeup call.

Maybe we could barter.

Younger and less experienced comes with a price

Do you know exactly what you want without having to do research, compare statistics, ask questions, etc? Generally not when we are younger and less experienced.

Working hard in an admirable way for a long, long time has an upside. You gain more control of things you had less control of when you were less experienced younger.

Walked into a dealership yesterday after the Saturday school festival and a few hours later walked out striking a fair deal on a new van. Same van we bought 11 years ago. A vehicle and company we trust.

Didn’t even test drive the vehicle. Why would you need to?

PS. Trusting the maker and trusting the seller are two entirely different propositions. Car dealerships have negative, long-seeded stereotypes. It would be great for the sellers to rupture them.
