The weirdest thing yesterday was removing the Disney Institute engagements from the Apple personal calendar for November, December and January.
Weirder still is entering new engagements in their place for Mid Life Celebration.

The harsh reality in business is there’s a number behind everything.
Dear leaders, yes, financial obligations are the bottom-line. We hear you say this all the time when we ask for stuff we deem important, “It has a number behind it”.
Of course there is.
And there are people behind the numbers.
Profit is either the goal or the reward.
Our choice to see it as goal or reward determines the employees’ choice for compliance versus commitment.
Leaders, hasn’t anyone explained this to you?
Either way it’s crystal clear.
Even if you look the other way.

If you could have a Disney retirement party, what venue?
While it has been six years in the making, the actual final day has been determined rather quickly. This means logistically, choices have to be made and on short notice, it’s challenging to get your first choice.
However, because of dedicated people who make Magic everyday, the event will be at the first choice location.
