This post’s photos depict our cold, rainy, and windy journey to Ahern Pass and Peak.
Jody found an “office” next to a small snow field while i explored Ahern Peak’s summit. Jody is nursing a pre-existing injury.
Jody and i agreed to an hour out and an hour back. Went out 75-minutes. Returned in 40. Showed up five minutes early. Yee-haw.
Note: We are deep in the wilderness, alone, with no cell signal. Separating without a timeline is dangerous. Being late to return makes the waiting person afraid of what might have happened.
