Change isn’t hard at first

Verizon monthly plans
What would happen if i tried Verizon?

Change isn’t hard at first, specifically in our youth. Why? Because children are so experimental, so untethered with conformity, so excited about possibility.

Children dream wide open.

No filters.

There’s next to nothing to lose.

And then something happens.

We grow up and learn about fear, risk-taking, and status quo.

Men vs women

Goofy
Passing through here this morning on the way to Baltimore.

Man is old when he begins to hide his age; woman, when she begins to tell hers.  – Oscar Wilde

Keep your success to yourself

.think .differently
Yesterday, while returning to Walt Disney World from Disneyland. Who am i, some other successful speaker?

Keep your success to yourself.

No one wants to hear how well you are doing.

Additionally, no one wants to hear how much freedom you have with your work schedule.

This work-schedule freedom may be even more valuable than your earnings.

So just be quiet already.

Common sense isn’t too common

Disney Keynote Speaker
Removed prices yesterday, in an experiment with a Speaker Bureau. They have asked me to sign an exclusive contract with them. Removing public prices helps their cause. One small step…i can always go back.

When in doubt, just take the next small step.  – conventional wisdom

Would have been more impressive had he worn his t-shirt

Zuckerberg hot seat
Last night while eating room service dinner.

Zuckerberg hot seat
So is Mark Zuckerberg’s message, “Only dress up when you’re in the hot seat?”

Would have been more impressive (to me) had he worn his signature t-shirt.

That’s his brand statement.

Why deviate?

Sure, there’s a time and a place for everything.

Yet there’s literally an exception to every rule.
