New speech idea uses “have fun, .think .differently, and lean into discomfort”.
Maybe call it Vibrancy, or perhaps CEO of You, Inc.
Have fun centers on going the extra inch…have fun with others to surprise and delight them. It’s addicting.
.think .differently has DNA in Mid Life Crisis and going the extra mile.
Lean into discomfort is about envisioning a future not only better than now, but much better than now: bike across country with $75, don’t dismiss random opportunities (DI call), write a book, start a business, get and stay healthy, etc. And how about packing up in Washington State and living 5 minutes from WDW?

Daily, prolific blogging began well before retiring from Disney. The two-hour morning commitment was a daily strain on balancing a busy Disney Institute travel career.
Blogged prolifically for six years before retiring in 2014. What kept it going when it wasn’t necessary (and was an unnecessary work strain)?
Had a vision that after a Disney career, it would be a fun, insightful, inspiring way to start every day in retirement. Meaning, i was writing like i got to do it rather than it being an obligation.
Bottomline, the beauty of the daily two-hour writing commitment was a revelation and blessing long before this song.
Ps. Luke did it/does it for the crowd. i do too…a crowd of one, two, three people…me and my family, but driven by how daily writing helps me be better than if i never started (or if i ever stop).
