Poor Walt

54-second video: It’s a shame Walt never got to see Walt Disney World.

No one will be more excited about your vision of the future than you. Inspire yourself.

You never see this

4-second video created to share with business colleagues. Lee’s window is a traditional stop. Lee, Dan, and Jody always receive a short “thinking of you” video text.

You never see these types of colleague or client videos.

Of course, Family and friends receive these too.

Why?

Because they are meant for a small audience, a specific person, or handful of people.

How often do i record and send these?

“All the time”.

HOP

Disney’s Magic Kingdom Theme Park. A stop within a stop. HOP is Hall of Presidents. These two chairs. Iconic, at least to locals. Waiting for dinner reservation.

Surprise and delight

Disney Customer Service Keynote speaker
What a delightful surprise.

What a delightful surprise to see Mickey Mouse at dinner.

What is interesting in this photo, to me, is what i’m wearing here:

  • Is what i wore on the plane from Orlando.
  • Is what i wore the next day to give the Disney Customer Service Keynote.
  • Is what i wore to fly home on the third day

Eventually gonna travel without a business jacket.

We shall see.

The biggest challenges

mountain bicycling
The sole reason i continue to write prolifically after 13+ years of never missing a day is to leave a trail for this college student. A secondary reason surfaced after the original 100-day, self-imposed writer’s bootcamp – writing helps me find peace and contentment on a wild planet.

The biggest challenges with fear:

  • Narrowing the gap between closed mindset and growth mindset
  • Unintentionally fueling no-win discussion/arguments
  • Quelling fear
  • Remaining patient and professional with the opposite
  • Losing hope that there will be a mutual understanding
