What 12 year old wants to emulate old men in business suits?

The summer of 1971 offered a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Disneyland – courtesy of a regional grocery store chain’s “Believe in a Boy” sweepstakes. All expenses paid, four days, three nights. While a cool experience as a 12-year old, Disney didn’t impress me the way Junior High School sports did.
