Organizational hygiene

Organizational hygiene is the deliberate act of making hard decisions, early and consistently, to prevent chaos from becoming the norm.

Hygiene rarely pays off short term. It’s always the work of an intentional organization, caring enough about the future to do something important every day this week.

And the week after that, etc.
