What’s Scary About Vision?

Recently attended a function at Epcot’s World Showcase. This was framed on a wall.

jeff noel, founder at Mid Life Celebration, LLC has a clear, concise and compelling vision, and presses on, even though it’s not a vision everyone will want to follow. The same for anyone with a compelling vision, and this is one of the main reasons we don’t dream big enough – we fear the ridicule.

And deep down, we also fear the success.

It’s been almost a year since I felt the ridicule of a friend concerning my vision, something he didn’t fully understand. It still stings.

I’m trying to help him understand my vision by being unwavering in the approach to mine. I don’t want to cram it down his throat.

Maybe one day he will understand.

Unwavering has a way (the long way) of getting the job done.
Plus, you find out what others are made of – talk or action, dreaming or doing.

The concept of fear alone (for whatever reason) can cause people to “aim low.” That’s the stinging truth for me.

Bob, me too. When I started living like there were only 10 years left (now down to 8), things transformed.

Our ‘truth’ hurts, AND, it can set us free. Bob, I know you know this. Go.
