The best epiphany of the WordPress Wordcamp Orlando 2013 session was a question

Striving for simplicity in everything. Everything.
Striving for simplicity in everything. Everything.

The best part of the first day at Wordcamp Orlando was the epiphany.

What do you use WordPress for?

I’m a writer.

What do you write about?

Right there in that moment…

The answer.

Have a clear, concise, and compelling answer.

In the walk to the parking lot the answer fell from the sky… second chances.

And excuses, regrets, hope, opportunity, permission

Excuses lead to regret.

Regret leads to hope.

Hope leads to opportunity.

And opportunity begs for permission.

Second chances, no?

Regret – my favorite quote from the music man from Harold Hill “You pile up enough tomorrows, and you’ll find you are left with nothing but a lot of empty yesterdays. I don’t know about you, but I’d like to make today worth remembering.” I know, I have posted it before but worth repeating.

David, life is not a dress rehearsal. Live like we mean it, no?

Preoccupied with life’s many distractions until we are always distracted, yes?

An Olympic effort is often required to find the balance between ambition and peace.
