Am humbled by how long it takes to get things done. And humbled also by the things that should happen in a snap that often get glitchy when we can least afford them to. We plan for simple things to always go smoothly.

Was reminded for the past 15 minutes how untrue that is.

  1. As a CIO in Healthcare – one of my biggest challenges are balancing my expectations of others. For those of us that are so detailed and organized it is often hard to understand why others are not, which often lead to those glitches. I just remind myself what Lee Cockerell’s wife once told him “Remember Lee, they are watching you and judging you”… Just bought Jeff’s new book from Amazon, a Christmas gift to myself!

  2. David, it takes a village. organized folks, visionary folks, creative folks, task masters, party planners, etc.

My advice is be absolutely remarkable with your gift only you bring to the team and learn (very challenge for people, including me) to trust others.

And thank you for considering the book to be worthy of your valuable time. 🙂
