Occasionally, we walk somewhere and we see the sign, “Reserved for so-and-so“.

Usually, reserved parking spaces are for those individuals who’ve contributed something really important.

In a world full of alpha-dogs, what does it take to earn a reserved parking space?

And, perhaps more importantly, what will it take to keep it?

  1. Aim past the target, i.e. go for something more important or profound then a parking space. Maybe you’ll end up with something even better than a parking space, maybe you’ll end up with your own company and parking garage to boot, maybe you’ll find that you want your secretary to have that parking space…

  2. Great advice Chris. You’ve painted a great vision for reaching for an “impossible” goal, or perhaps, a very humble goal – to give the parking space to your secretary.

    Or, did you mean help her reach her own impossible goal so no one has to give her anything?
