It boggles my mind how long it took me to stop putting a band aid on seasonal allergies, which were almost incapacitating. Now i’m on a monthly maintenance allergy shot and can breath easily during the worst pollen seasons.
What we accept by default becomes this – the standard.
What we think and do every day is our cultural norm.
The only reason employees do what they do is because we let them.
Employees can’t violate company standards for long without being asked to leave the company.
Either that, or the standards culture changes.
