If McDonald’s copied Apple’s marketing vibe

Insanely clever, understated humor.

Who couldn’t use a smile or decent chuckle at work?

Insight: Apple has a signature (branded) formula for their new product announcements. The director captured that brilliantly.

McDonalds on the other hand, has created an unmistakable brand built on grease and “secret ingredients” covered in bread crumbs.

Two world-recognizable brands.

Two distinctly different emotional connections.

Simplicity is operational genius

The closer you look, the better it gets.

Simplicity is operational genius.

What inspires you in your overworked, overwhelmed day-to-day race on the treadmill of life?

Is it the status quo?

Is it taking risks that no one else takes?

The top photo is an illustration of how simple an Apple Keynote slide presentation is.

It’s a simplicity i over manage in order to emmulate.

If Disney ran your business, they’d insist you do the same.

Be unwilling to be comfortable backing off

Apple has held the Most Admired Company designation eight consecutive years.

There’s one Company that would like to give them a break from the top.

Exceptionally high expectations don’t make a company, or a person, arrogant.

Be unwilling to be comfortable backing off.

My conscious was bothering me

You can reach a point in life that even the smallest miscommunication bothers you.

Purchased a new MacBook four days ago, and yesterday i took it back, unopened.

Bought it utilizing the back-to-school tax free incentive.

Went to purchase our third 11-inch MacBook Air, this one for Chapin as he enters High School.

Bought a 12-inch MacBook (not an “Air”) that is smaller, lighter, and has a bigger screen.

Since it’s a new Apple product, the temptation to own it tugged on my heart.

So i took it back explaining that it won’t be going to our Son and i’d like to pay the tax that we saved under the back-to-school premise.

Apple said either way it was legit and not to worry about it.

There is something about a 100% clear conscience that is priceless.

Apple One to One
One year of personal coaching from Apple

Keep up or get left behind.

There’s something about continuous learning and seasonality. This post is simply real life in real time. A demonstration of practicing what is preached.

Apple’s Yosemite operating system unveiled the Photos App for the first time a few days ago. Now photos can be stored on iCloud.

A first.

Yesterday’s Apple one-to-one session (with Gary) was fun and informative. It was good to get back on the horse. It had been five years.

Did three years (the maximum limit) in a row beginning in 2008 after purchasing an iPhone 3GS.

Note the second photo time stamp – January 20, 2014. Purchased the training well over a year ago. Activated it yesterday, April 14, 2015.
