To listen more or to not listen more, that is the question

inspiring mission
Last night, a random commercial. Love the aspirational vision. Essentially, i aspire to do the same.

The Speakers Bureau gave them the top keynote speaker recommendations.

However, several members of the speaker selection committee had seen me speak a month ago and told the leader he should contact me.

As we concluded the 30-minute call, he said i should hear back in a couple days.

Was proud of myself for intentionally doing far more listening this call than usual.

Not sure if it was a good idea.

Love trying new things…and learning how easy technology is to use.

Two mornings ago i did a mobile Skype call to Australia while i biked an hour to the gym.

The other side of our planet.

For free.

On a cell-phone.

While riding a bike.

For an hour.

Like i was talking to someone the next street over.

Very cool.

On April Fool’s Day 2009, jeff noel began writing five daily, differently-themed blogs (on five different sites). It was to be a 100-day self-imposed “writer’s bootcamp”, in preparation for writing his first book. He hasn’t missed a single day since.

The next book will have “Disney” in it’s title. No, i’m not smoking anything.

The next book project begins today.

Had been waiting for a milestone date to begin writing the next book, featuring what i learned (and taught) from a lifetime at Disney.

Only recently did i target our son’s birthday, August 12.

However, after what was revealed yesterday, August 3, i am beginning today.
