Enthusiasm is unfortunate

Merino wool is cleaned using fresh air. Anywhere from 14-30 days between soap and water washings. Travel hack for traveling light. Are you still enthusiastic about finding remarkably better ways to live?

Enthusiasm is unfortunate.

Why?

Enthusiasm, unfortunately, has no autopilot.

It does, however, have a fly wheel.

Like hitting the lottery, kinda.

  1. How engaged are your employees?
  2. How appreciated do they feel?
  3. How aligned are employees with your purpose?
  4. How satisfied are employees with your pursuit of your purpose?

Personal leadership as CEO of You, Inc

The juxtaposition between Glacier and Sanibel is remarkable.

Same planet.

Same Country.

Remarkably different landscapes.

Same with Family members.

Same blood.

Remarkably different personalities.

Some are inspiring.

Some illicit fear from unpredictability.

As CEO of You, Inc, always bring the best version of yourself to every encounter.

May the Universe send you everything good your way this holiday season.

Long days, make them count

Last night at Scribble Space. West Orlando WordPress meeting. Continuous learning and development is a focus.

Long days.

Make them count.

Up at 4:30 AM, instead of the usual 5:00 AM.

Work through the day.

Attend local lunch gathering at Scribble Space for small business owners at noon.

Quick stop at SunTrust Bank to place my phone unlock code and Apple ID (once phone is unlocked) in safety deposit box.

Arrive home just in time to join 2:00 PM Quickbooks webinar.

Continue doing business strategy work for 2020 and 2021.

Return to Scribble Space to attend local WordPress meeting at 6:00 PM.

Home after 8:00 PM.

Not recommending nor condoning this lifestyle.

Long days are part of being an owner.

(csn, text me the you pass this sentence. Ty.)

So is making choices.

Having better choices and more control is the get-to-do aspect that balances and supersedes the have-to-do aspects of business ownership.

Letter to the Chief

Vision is the first of my 19 business cultural blueprints.

Thanks for sharing. Hope your head is pain free.

How intentional do you think it is that Vision is the first of my 19 organizational vibrancy architectural blueprints? (Yes, it’s a trick question) 😜

Simon does a great job reframing what many miss as key because the concept of vision is too familiar and too simple.

(A vision of the future that’s not only better than now, but much better.)

As simple a concept as vision is, remember how you struggled with vision in the early days?

Your greatest opportunity is breathing life into your organization’s.

Why communicating this in a clear, concise, and compelling manner doesn’t come naturally to you is still a mystery.

Do you remember those 15 minutes with your Executive Team that morning at the retreat? That was the most powerful/inspiring message you ever gave them.

You are so capable.

When you slow down long enough, you’ll see in yourself what i see in you.

Greatness.

PS. To be clear, Glacier would have revealed this.

PSS. When you are ready to see cultural transformation version 2.0 as an investment instead of an expense, organizational vibrancy will become your (Organization’s) greatest asset. Can you see it?
