This gives me more ideas.

Thank you Jay.

PS. i love having Disney’s time-tested, world-class Customer Service operational blueprints as my gift to the business world. Four (common-sense, once you know them) Disney Customer Service basics.

Stay flexible and strong, and of course, stay creative.

Staying creative for a lifetime means never getting bored with the basics.

Have strong beliefs.

Be flexible.

Ask others for help.

And test things, take risks – launch, learn, revise, repeat.

Market like you mean it

Marketing
Yesterday at breakfast after Mass. Creative. Fun. Different. Will it do what the Marketing boss wanted it to accomplish?

Market like you mean it.

Sounds good on paper.

Lots of stereotypes with Marketing – some great, some bad.

No one likes pushy, salesy people or unwanted messages (spam).

Word of mouth is still the holy grail.

Great article with 40 creative marketing notions.

The holy grail is what i seek.

The art of creating often seems Magical

‘Shape of You’: Making 2017’s Biggest Track

Turn up your volume one last time for 2017 — here’s how Ed Sheeran made "Shape of You."

Posted by The New York Times on Wednesday, December 20, 2017

The art of creating superior products and services often seems Magical from the outside.

The reality is it’s not the Magic that makes it work, it’s the work that makes it Magic.

Even someone like Ed Sheeran knows this.

Ed wrote the song for someone else – to “give away” as he says.

Apparently, in 90 minutes, he created one of his biggest singles.

Let this karma of imperfect truth inspire you to go somewhere today you’ve never been – a place you dream of all the time but don’t think is possible.

The one obvious place no one looks for solutions

Grinnell Glacier Trail
Grinnell Glacier Trail, August 29, 2017, with Howard Doran (college fraternity brother).

The best solution is not where everyone is already looking.
