Just Siri it

Disney leadership speakers
Guest asked me last night (at 914pm) the name of the new Magic Kingdom Fireworks show…the one replacing “Wishes”.

Just Siri it.

There is nothing we can’t find the answer to.

Except for Magical information.

Like how to architect your personal, team, or organizational culture for vibrancy.

Thrive or survive.

Easy choice.

But you have to want it like you want your next breath.

The stakes get high when your assets are digital

The stakes get high when your assets are digital.

Content began one day and then continued to two days in a row.

Then three, four, five days in a row.

Then a week, then two.

Then a month, then 12.

One year, then seven.

Over 13,000 blog posts on five individual websites.

What if it disappeared?

On April Fool’s Day 2009, jeff noel began writing five daily, differently-themed blogs (on five different sites). It was to be a 100-day self-imposed “writer’s bootcamp”, in preparation for writing his first book. He hasn’t missed a single day since.

Think Like a Failure?

Cybrarian.  Never heard of this person, probably.  No worries.  I had never heard of it until this month.

Librarian.  Everyone’s heard of this person, probably.  The librarian is in charge of the library – the place where books are kept.

How many of you can see it coming?  The day when books will be relics on display in museums. It may not happen in the next 10-20 years, but it will happen.  And it may even happen sooner.

The music industry never saw it coming. They should have led the revolution, instead, they were victims of it.

Free music file sharing over the Internet.  Preposterous!  Exactly.

Cybrarians can see it coming.  Amazon’s Kindle is the first ripple of the cybrarian tsunami.

Surf’s up, dude.  Catch a (digital) wave.

Social Media A Fad?

Is Social Media a fad?  It is if you’re utterly foolish or senseless.
(This You Tube video is oversized so we can view/read it better)

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Is Social Media ( socialnomics ) a fad?  Did you know an utterly foolish and senseless person is defined as an idiot?   Strong language?  No. Simply a fact.

Did you know that ignoring facts (say, global warming) doesn’t make them go away?

Twitter This

Twitter This.

Even if you’re not into social media, social networking, or social marketing, that’s OK.

Many folks are resistant to change.  It’s human nature.    Neither bad nor good.   It is what it is.

However, there is also a classic truth:

The more things change, the more they stay the same.

Maybe it’s having an eight-year old in our house that inspires me to stay current.  Maybe it’s the fact that I can be enthusiastic about change and embrace it, or, I can be unenthusiastic and let it suffocate me.

Like I always say, “The choice is ours.  Always is, always has been”.

Today’s Orlando Sentinel article, Social network Twitter ushers in new era for athletes, is yet another story on social media becoming, well, socially acceptable.

Now if we can just figure this out for business…..
