What’s Your Big Dream?

Where Do You Stand?
Where Do You Stand?

Do you feel like quitting, giving up, or at the very least, backing down from reaching high?

Two of our most common feelings are:

  1. Dreaming Big Dreams
  2. Quitting because of the obstacles

So today’s thought for you to ponder, “What’s your big dream?”

And, “Are you still passionate about it or have you given up?”

You’ll Never Succeed Doing This

It Could Happen
It Could Happen

You Never Succeed By Being A Follower.

There are probably exceptions to this rule, but let’s be real.  The exceptions are just that, exceptions.

Please don’t get me wrong, following is good. And safe. And mostly predictable.

And then there are the questions of when, where, what, how and why?

Whatever it is that is important, should be visualized and evaluated.

Then, there is that simple choice:  Follow or lead.

And in my case, this took a lifetime.

Do You Follow Your Instincts?

Trust You Instinct
Trust You Instinct

This excerpt is from a Speakers and Panelist LinkedIn Group Member, Stephen J Stulic. Relevant and powerful:

“Seek and Welcome Opportunities That Move You Closer To Realizing Your Full Potential.

Be ready when opportunity knocks. And sometimes, by taking strategic advantage of several small opportunities, you may move closer to realizing your full potential more quickly than waiting for one big one to come along.

Therefore, do not be content to wait for a single opportunity to be all that you want it to be; they come in all shapes and sizes and quite often come disguised as something you would not normally expect.

A person truly centered in understanding what he wants will make more opportunities than he finds.

So, when any opportunity to become more is presented to you, be prepared to make the most of it and take action.

Follow your instincts; there is nothing more discouraging than waiting back on your heels as an opportunity ceases to be one.”

Facebook Updates

Two Out of Three Ain't Bad
Two Out of Three Ain't Bad

Recently read a Facebook update from a friend, and, an aspiring, passionate person who’s launching a new career.

The Facebook update said to this effect, “I didn’t get the job…I learned more in one night than I did in a whole year in school.”

How powerful is that?

When was the last time any of us said something like that?

Do you:

  1. Love to learn at an accelerated pace?
  2. Value a great education?
  3. Act in a manner that mirrors your belief system?

Odds are, we all said, “Yes!”

To all three.

I say, “Doubtful.”  It’s number three that gets us in conflict.

What we see in the mirror and what others see in the mirror, almost without exception, are two different things.
