“Social media in all forms are becoming the dominant form of interaction on the Net, whether blogging, Twittering, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc. Six Pixels of Separation clearly describes this new family of media, offering realistic ways to get involved and productive in a hurry.” — Craig Newmark, founder of Craigs List
Have you been thinking about blogging, but are not sure about it? What are you waiting for?
Do you blog, but want to change your blog theme?
I recommend WordPress blogging, and use GoDaddy to host domain names, and then use GoDaddy’s free WordPress application to create an instant blog.
Here’s an informative video with Tips to pick a WordPress Theme, from the Seattle, Washington Word Camp. Click here to view.
When done effectively, blogging will change your life.
This excerpt is from a Speakers and Panelist LinkedIn Group Member, Stephen J Stulic. Relevant and powerful:
“Seek and Welcome Opportunities That Move You Closer To Realizing Your Full Potential.
Be ready when opportunity knocks. And sometimes, by taking strategic advantage of several small opportunities, you may move closer to realizing your full potential more quickly than waiting for one big one to come along.
Therefore, do not be content to wait for a single opportunity to be all that you want it to be; they come in all shapes and sizes and quite often come disguised as something you would not normally expect.
A person truly centered in understanding what he wants will make more opportunities than he finds.
So, when any opportunity to become more is presented to you, be prepared to make the most of it and take action.
Follow your instincts; there is nothing more discouraging than waiting back on your heels as an opportunity ceases to be one.”

Disney, as in the man Walt Disney, has taught me to experiment with every new and innovative way to strive for perfection. And it was Vince Lombardi, legendary head coach for the Green Bay Packers, that said, “In chasing perfection, we will catch excellence”.
My son, as much as I try to teach and inspire him, actually teaches and inspires me. Who would have thought?
How? Well, for starters, he looks at technology like you and I breathe the air – casually, effortlessly, and fearlessly.
Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Blogs, Websites, GoDaddy, WordPress, Skype, Mobile Me, iPhone,iPhone apps, IM, You Tube, Google analytics, etc.
Our nine year old son is familiar with them all. I know. I’m his teacher.
He thinks I make technology look effortless. if he only knew how hard I worked.
Bet Walt Disney felt the same way. Carpe diem, jungle jeff 🙂
jungle jeff is on a road trip.
While it was never a childhood dream to be a professional speaker, there is no other profession I have more passion around.
As our young son grows and dreams big dreams, it’s my role (and my wife’s), to teach him how to live on purpose and with purpose.
Business leader’s have that same responsibility. In fact every leader, in every organization does.
On purpose. With purpose.
Are you crystal clear on where you are headed? Better yet, would your team say you are?
Today’s program begins with key leadership deliverables. And it starts with your vision.
Do you believe in your vision? Are you willing to do whatever it takes? Are others compelled to follow you? Are they inspired by it? Will they do whatever it takes?
Do you communicate your vision constantly? Passionately? With purpose? On purpose?
I know an eight year old who would answer yes to all of the above. Eight. Ya with me? Eight.
Carpe diem, jeff noel 🙂
