It’s a 2-minute summary of his speech’s key soundbites.

Paraphrasing a line from Steve’s speech, “The 1980’s are a first date between humans and computers.”

The takeaway for me is to challenge my own ability to zero in on, and create simple, unexpected, thought-provoking metaphors.

Why?

Because simple, key, repeatable messages have transformed my ability to lead myself.

And as a self-reminder, i am the CEO of Jeff, Inc.

Chances are you can easily see this application to your own life.

Every CEO is ultimately accountable for all their failures, all their successes.

Day 8 CCL, work

4-second video: Not gonna lie, there were so many of them (scattered about) that it was a bit spooky with the weather.

Evan was (appropriately) enthralled with the wildlife. Had to be a dozen Rams across this particular 800-meter trail section.

21-second video: Just capturing a small taste of the cloud’s speed. Easier to do as we descended back to the car.

Apple Watch — We began at 7:10 AM and returned at 12:10 PM. Five hours, half of which was spent on the summit.

Trailhead sign — The Best time to plan the best hikes is long before you arrive at the trailhead.

12-second video: Polebridge Merchantile’s ‘backyard’. Stopped in on our return from Bowman Lake. We still have 25 miles of mostly unpaved road to get back to our cabin.

Over-focus on everything.

Even hiking trails.

Maybe even a year or two in advance.

And perhaps consider doing reconnaissance on appropriate trails, for appropriate reasons.
