Hated to leave

Empty grocery store shelves at Publix, the store one mile from home.
Empty grocery store shelves
Empty grocery store shelves at Winn Dixie on the way home from Apple Store. Just needed butter.
Easter candy
Plenty of marshmallow Peeps though.

Hated to leave.

Used to respond with the above statement when asked, “How was your day at work?”

Look at our world now with Covid-19.

Hating to leave work now takes on a whole new meaning.

Perhaps it will create a new generation of, “Hated to go back.”

Or, “I love working from home.”

PS. Missed having Magic Kingdom fireworks last night. First time in three decades. Eerie.

Having a rain day fund is great business (and personal) acumen.

Steve Jobs welcoming Bob Iger to the stage at Steve’s Apple Keynote, announcing the Pixar sale to Disney.
Bob’s masterful acquisitions.

Bob Iger said, “In today’s world, baby steps don’t work”.

This ABC interview with Bob Iger is worth the five minutes.

Professing, “The long way is the short cut”, i believe baby steps are what lead you to bold steps.

It’s the old adage, there’s no such thing as an overnight success.

Listen to Walt Disney’s words about technology

There’s a (not too) “hidden” Walt in the background.

Listen to Walt Disney’s words about technology…

Listening to Walt, the more things change, the more they stay the same.

Technology has always existed.

What changes is our understanding of what customer’s need and want from our Company and our Company’s collective ability to find any means (often through, but not limited to, technology) to exceed the expectations.
