Twitterdom or Wisdom?

This thought-provoking article is worth a few minutes of your time.

Oh, I almost forgot, you don’t have 180 seconds to spare.

I was at Starbucks on Friday and ordered a tall (which is really a small – too funny) cup of coffee.  They were out.  So if Starbucks has to brew a fresh pot for you – in 180 seconds – they provide it complimentary.

When he made the offer, I thought, “I don’t have three minutes.  I gotta get going“.

Then it hit me, “If you don’t have 180 seconds to spare in your life, you better go look in the mirror and ask why”, I said to myself.

It was amazing, in those brief three minutes, what I saw in the mirror.

I saw a man who has a difficult time fitting all life’s puzzle pieces together.  But a man who doesn’t give up.

I was sad and happy all in the course of 180 seconds.

After picking up my son at summer camp, we went to Gold’s Gym for an hour.

It was a great day, because I took even more time to reflect on what’s important, and then acted on it

Branding Publicity Stunts?

Air Tran publicity “stunt”

Cirque du Soleil publicity “stunt”

Getting the word out about your business has never been more important. Never more difficult.

Why?

Because the Internet has opened the flood gates on the consumer attention span.

Good luck with your endeavors.  Hope today’s jungle jeff post inspires you to think differently and more creatively.  It sure has for me.

Orlando’s jeff noel & Branding

Orlando’s jeff noel talks about Air Tran’s quest for excellence and domination in a tough business and even tougher economy.

Here’s jeff noel’s You Tube video from June 4, on a return trip from the University of Pittsburgh to Orlando.

Disney, Branding, Disney?

Disney, Branding, Disney?

Personal branding is something we are all aware of, right?  Just like personal wellness is something we are all aware of.  Are you with me?

OK, so we know these things, but the people who actually get great results, versus good results, are those that work the hardest.

Seriously, it’s what we all know to be true, but hate to admit.

Why, because hard work is, well, hard.

Here’s a case in point from my early morning drive to work this past Friday.

Like Tiger told me a year ago, “Out work ’em”!

Words to live by, but only if you want to get great results.

If great results are not part of your responsibilities, then I would just enjoy this post for what it is.

A personal opinion expressed by someone brought up in a culture where getting great results is a personal brand.

Happy Birthday to jungle jeff noel

Happy birthday to me.

“How old are you”?, people ask.  “How old do you think I am”?, I ask back.

The answer is I can’t tell you.  You won’t believe me.

Huh?

Exactly.

Many people thought Walt Disney was crazy.  I’m just a chip off the old block.

People thought he was crazy because he dreamt dreams that seemed impossible.  He questioned things, and many were uncomfortable with that.

He was rarely satisfied.  He was always pushing himself and others to think of the next great thing – something that hadn’t been thought of before.

As I reach this milestone today, I consciously give myself more permission to be a crazy man, in the same spirit as Walt Disney.

Anyway, just wanted to wish all you readers a very Happy Birthday, whenever your special day arrives.

Never let your memories be bigger than your dreams.  And if your goal isn’t impossible, you’re not reaching high enough.

Carpe diem, jeff 🙂
