Annual performance appraisal

Annual performance appraisals.

 What’s the point?

Do you wait until year-end to coach and develop the children in your life?

Of course not.

What a ridiculous thought.

Exactly.

PS. How do you coach and develop yourself with feedback from self-reflection and self-evaluation?

The invisible gap between all accomplishment

sleep app
Last night the goal was 8 hours, like it is every night.

wisdom
How true is this?

The invisible gap between all accomplishment.

i see it in my own life, professionally and personally.

You see it in yours too.

What?

Ok, you’re right, you can’t see it.

Sorry.

My bad.

It’s simply this…

The gap is the difference between what we are willing to do to get the things we say we want.

If you aren’t willing, it ain’t ever gonna happen.

Do the math.

Go forward, determined and enthusiastic.

Or turn around and go home, turn on your device of choice, and medicate your wounds.

The other option is to lower the bar for your life’s dreams.

It’s a simple concept.

Not easy.

But certainly simple.

i wish you amazing success wherever you set your bar.

His job is to make rattling the cage an art form

(photo: simply a reference to the love the world has for excellence… for a Company seven years running ‘The Most Admired Company in the World’)

Oh my gosh, what a year! Is it possible that after 30 years the 30th year would be the best one ever?

It was bound to happen. We reap what we sow.

Excellence.

Don’t hope for it. Don’t wish for it. Don’t even strive for it.

Demand it!

That’s the heart of organizational vibrancy.

I am the deepest thinker in the room. My job is to rattle the cage so to speak. To get people to think differently. If they walk out of the room thinking the same way they did when they entered, we didn’t need to have the meeting. – jn

Anyone who works in the classroom delivering content can feel his commitment, his dedication, his passion for helping others think differently. He is extraordinarily flexible at adapting to his audience, his co-facilitator, his client.
