Here’s Who Wins

It's Who You Know
It's Who You Know

The person who works harder and longer than anyone else wins.

Life may seem unfair, personally or professionally.

But actually, life is fair.

What doesn’t seem fair is how hard we need to work to survive and thrive.

If you want the job, it’s simple, you must be the best person out of all the others.

You must bring with you more of what they want than any of the other candidates.

And sometimes, it’s the relationship piece, not the technical qualification, that is the most important.

Figure it out.

Does Your Vision Do This?

Does your vision – personal, professional, or both – send a shiver down your spine when you think or talk about it?

What if it did?

What would it take?

As a professional speaker, a wise person once told me, “Jeff, if you look out at your audience, and they look bored, you’re boring them”.

To me, this means if I’m  bored with my thinking, and not motivated, excited or inspired enough, it’s my responsibility to take action.

There are many ways to figure this out.  It happened to me and I’m applying my best efforts to, as Gandhi said, “You must become the change you wish to see in the world”.

What about you?

Thank goodness it’s Monday.  Bring it on.  Carpe diem, jungle jeff 🙂

jeff noel + blog =?

Hey, business blogs and professional networking are occupying a big part of my dreaming capacity these days.    How is it with you?   The dreaming part.

To me, dreaming is synonymous with vision, in my opinion.

How important is vision?  What is your vision each and every day.  This can be challenging to answer.

Why?

Because we often don’t think about it.  Why?  Because we are so busy trying to accomplish what’s directly in front of us.  Am I wrong?

Wanted to add a quick post  to share a vision that business blogs and social networking will someday soon be an energizing force to help make the world a better place.  I can feel it in my bones.

What are you passionate about?  What do you dream about?  Who needs to be involved?  How long do you have?

When do you find time to think of questions like these, let alone answer them?

I’m challenging myself to work harder and smarter than ever.  I hope you do what feels right for you, and for your organization.

To me, it feels like the clock is ticking faster.  The competition, working harder.  Carpe diem, jungle jeff noel  🙂
