When conditions are right

Black-Eyed Susan backyard meadow
Absolutely no care has been granted these flowers. Nature is just doing what nature does when conditions become favorable, over time.

Need to take a panorama photo today. Why? Today’s photos don’t capture the full story.

When conditions are right, thriving is not only possible, it’s guaranteed.

Nature doesn’t mess around.

All a plant needs to thrive is the right soil, the right light, and right water.

When conditions are right, there’s is no stopping nature.

Do you think this applies to thriving conditions and survival conditions in a personal life?

Of course the answer is obvious.

“The obvious”, i have found, is the most overlooked wisdom in the world.

Disney deconstructed

Disney success formula jeff noel
Disney deconstructed from 30 years of .thinking .differently

If you could deconstruct and demystify Disney’s world class customer service formula, what would it look, sound, taste, smell, and feel like?

There are probably less than 100 Cast Members in the world who know how to tell you.

A handful of them can tell it exceptionally well.

And in that handful, what if one stands out for thinking deeper, caring more, reaching higher, and working harder?

Call or text (407-538-4341) to set up a call and i’ll give you a glimpse of what’s possible if we worked together to transform your organizational culture.

The tip of the iceberg is this:

Disney’s success comes from being intentional where others are unintentional.

On April Fool’s Day 2009, jeff noel began writing five daily, differently-themed blogs (on five different sites). It was to be a 100-day self-imposed “writer’s bootcamp”, in preparation for writing his first book. He hasn’t missed a single day since.

If Disney Ran Your Life

The reward for thinking small

Disney Leadership keynote speakers
Scribbled this idea on a post it note a couple weeks ago.

At Disney, the belief is simple:

If everyone does a little all the time, a lot gets done.

It’s the engine that powers the Magic-making machine.

One Question A Day?

There’s a reason this question is so important

Magic Kingdom Castle improvements 2015
Always improving the Guest Experience.

Magic Kingdom Castle improvements 2015
Continuous improvement is Disney’s DNA.

Disney Customer Service Keynote Speaker
Yesterday’s 10-mile run included a walk through Disney’s Magic Kingdom.

There’s a reason this question is so important:

What’s the ratio between taking action based on our own original thought vs taking action based on someone else’s recipe for success?

Classic battle of crazy vs tried and true.

If all we had to do was follow the “success” recipe(s), we’d all be astonishing successful wouldn’t we?

Motivation Is Like A Meal

Motivation is like a meal.  Seriously.  But we all forget.

Should an Annual Conference’s motivational effects last all year?

Should monthly meetings keep teams inspired all month?

Weekly meetings?  Will the excitement last all week?

Daily meetings?  All day?

After breakfast, most humans are ready to be nourished again at lunch. Even after two decent meals, most are ready for a third meal in the evening.

We even throw in snacks to help sustain us. Why?

Because motivation, inspiration and excitement begin to subside within hours, just like meals.

Do you have any idea what this means to you and me as effective leaders?
