On April Fool’s Day 2009, jeff noel began writing five daily, differently-themed blogs (on five different sites). It was to be a 100-day self-imposed “writer’s bootcamp”, in preparation for writing his first book. He hasn’t missed a single day since.
Very often, the bravest thing we can do is to keep our mouth shut. Speaking up can get us in trouble, give us a reputation, and ruin our career. It can also set us free and propel our career. The real trick is to know when to speak and when to zip it.
