August’s MBA Update

August has been very challenging.

August has been very rewarding.

There were lessons learned that neither the teacher nor the student were prepared for.

This makes the world of business challenging, exhilarating, exhausting, and sometimes, almost not worth it.

But focus, discipline and a clear, concise and compelling vision will pull you through the dark moments.

Every time.

Ain’t No Mountain High Enough

But Don't You I Think I'm Special?
But Don't You I Think I'm Special?

Remember that song by Marvin Gaye?

Same melody, different words….

Old School, Got Dreams?

Got Dreams?
Got Dreams?

“You’ve been thinking like an adult since you were a kid”, she said in response to a story I had shared from my youth.

Told her about wanting to be a Physical Education teacher to help make people healthier, and help make the world a better place. I was in 8th Grade.

Got dreams?

Wishing You The Best

We Can Do Great Things
We Can Do Great Things

It is helpful to remember the big picture, isn’t it?

Do you have creative and effective ways to remember the big picture?  I mean everyday. Do you?

Currently, writing five daily blogs has helped me make a dramatic leap in the way I perceive excellence and act on excellence.

The dramatic leap didn’t happen a year ago when I was writing single digit monthly blog posts – November 2008.

It didn’t happen when I wrote nearly 20 monthly blog posts – December 2008.

And it didn’t happen in the first two months of this year, when I wrote even fewer.

But something magical happened in March, ten months ago.

I’ll tell you all about it tomorrow.  Wishing you the best day of your life -today!  Carpe diem.
