Mid Life Celebration Summer Vacation & Strategy Planning

The Photographer & His Shadow(s)

The Summer was tough on jeff noel. Taking a month-long vacation in July, which was cool because jeff had never done that before. But the tough part was strategizing the next 12 months for Mid Life Celebration, LLC. Tough because of so many ideas. Tough because of the economy. Tough because kids are only ten once.

Wait, I’m simply playing around here as I try to write something that takes minimal effort.

I am, after all, on vacation.

On vacation next to the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Downtown Disney, Disney Quest, Typhoon Lagoon, Blizzard Beach, Disney’s Grand Floridan Resort and Spa, Disney’s Contemporary Resort….

Wait, stop it.  You’re just rubbing it in that you live right next door to all of Disney’s Magic.

And you already know it’s probably very sunny, very warm and nothing but blue skies.

And that we have annual passes and can Park Hop virtually all year long.

Uh huh. Don’t you just hate vacation?

Yeah, me neither. 🙂

Woo-hoo!  jungle jeff is on vacation!

Now I can really get some work done.  Here’s my list:

  1. Slow down

Will let you know how this goes.  Carpe diem.

Indescribable?

Indescribable?  Completely.

Meeting with a writer this morning after Church.  We’re collaborating. I’ve written somewhere in the neighborhood of 1,300 jeff noel blog posts, from five individual jeff noel blogs.  Began writing consistently six months ago.

He agreed to read every single Mid Life Celebration blog post prior to today’s meeting.  While it wasn’t required, I decided to do the same. Wow.  It’s pretty inspiring content, because it is written by a common man.

Here’s an example from August 1st, entitled “Indescribable“.

Hope you day is, well, Indescribable!.

Does Your Vision Do This?

Does your vision – personal, professional, or both – send a shiver down your spine when you think or talk about it?

What if it did?

What would it take?

As a professional speaker, a wise person once told me, “Jeff, if you look out at your audience, and they look bored, you’re boring them”.

To me, this means if I’m  bored with my thinking, and not motivated, excited or inspired enough, it’s my responsibility to take action.

There are many ways to figure this out.  It happened to me and I’m applying my best efforts to, as Gandhi said, “You must become the change you wish to see in the world”.

What about you?

Thank goodness it’s Monday.  Bring it on.  Carpe diem, jungle jeff 🙂
